Homes England will release additional land specifically for smaller builders, further bolstering SMEs. A forthcoming National Housing Delivery Fund will unlock new avenues of long-term finance. This includes revolving credit and lending alliances for smaller developers.

He points out that while legislative changes such as the Planning and Infrastructure Bill are moving through Westminster, there is still much ground to cover. For real progress, Emerson insists the sector must consider everything from workforce development to supply chain resilience. Then, builders can deliver new homes efficiently and affordably.
